انواع پروتزهای صورت

پروتزهای صورت از جنس مواد سازگار با بافت بدن (Biocompatible) و به شکل جامد اما انعطاف‌پذیر هستند. از پروتزهای صورت برای تعدیل و یا اضافه کردن عناصر مشخص، زوایای طبیعی و مرزهای قابل مشاهده در صورت، استفاده می‌شود. جنس این پروتزها به گونه‌ای است که تنها با انجام یک جراحی کوچک بر روی نسج نرم چانه و یا از داخل دهان می‌توان برجستگی‌های لازم را به فک، چانه و یا گونه اضافه کرد.

پروتز چانه

از پروتز چانه برای ایجاد برجستگی یا بزرگ کردن چانه‌هایی که با برآمدگی پیشانی یا استخوان گونه‌ها تناسب ندارند، استفاده می‌شود. چانه‌های کوچک یا عقب رفته، مرز صورت را مشخص نمی‌کنند و به اصطلاح در گردن گم می‌شوند که برای اصلاح این نقص می‌توان از پروتز چانه استفاده کرد. در برخی موارد، انجام این جراحی به دنبال عمل زیبایی بینی توصیه می‌شود.

پروتز فک

از پروتز فک برای افزایش طول یک سوم پایینی صورت کمک گرفته می‌شود. شکل نامتناسب فک همانند چانه، یکی از عواملی است که فرم چهره و مرز گردی صورت را به خوبی نشان نمی‌دهد. در برخی موارد، چانه و استخوان فک هر دو نامتناسب هستند که باید همزمان اصلاح شوند.

پروتز گونه

در صورتی که استخوان گونه فاقد برجستگی لازم باشد می‌توان از این نوع پروتز برای ایجاد حجم و برجسته کردن گونه‌ها کمک گرفت.

جراحی پروتز صورت

اگر ارتفاع یا عرض قسمتی از صورت خارج از حد اعتدال باشد بر زیبایی کلی چهره تأثیر می‌گذارد. به همین دلیل اصلاح چانه کوچک، فک نامشخص یا گونه فرو رفته با استفاده از پروتزهای صورت گزینه مناسبی برای متقارن کردن ترکیب کلی چهره می‌باشد.

حین جراحی

بیهوشی: پیش از جراحی با توجه به شرایط بیمار، متخصص بیهوشی تصمیم می‌گیرد که یکی از دو روش هوشبری وریدی یا استنشاقی را برای بیهوشی عمومی انتخاب کند.

برش‌ها:

برش چانه: برای پروتز چانه، یک برش کوچک در دهان و بین لثه و لب پایین ایجاد می‌شود. بعد از آن، بافت از روی استخوان بلند شده و پروتز در محل مناسب قرار می‌گیرد.

برش فک: پروتز فک به طور معمول با ایجاد برشی در داخل دهان، در محل مناسب گذاشته می‌شود. محل بخیه‌ها بین لثه پایین و نسج صورت و در طول استخوان آرواره می‌باشد.

برش گونه: ابتدا ناحیه‌ای از استخوان گونه که باید توسط پروتز به آن حجم داده شود، مشخص می‌گردد. سپس از طریق برشی در داخل دهان و زیر نسج گونه، پروتز در جای مناسب قرار می‌گیرد.

بخیه زدن: محل برش با بخیه‌های جذبی یا چسب مخصوص جراحی بسته می‌شود. یک یا دو هفته بعد از عمل، چسب‌ها توسط جراح برداشته خواهند شد.

پس از جراحی

• 24 تا 48 ساعت بعد از جراحی ممکن است بیمار تب خفیفی داشته باشد که امری طبیعی است.
• بیشتر بیماران از وجود جسم خارجی در صورتشان احساس ناراحتی می‌کنند تا آن که از درد شکایت داشته باشند. برای کاهش بی‌قراری می‌توان با نظر پزشک، از داروهای مسکن استفاده کرد.
• استفاده از آنتی‌بیوتیک بعد از عمل جراحی بزرگ کردن چانه ضروری است که باید طبق دستور پزشک و در ساعات مشخص مصرف شود.
• مصرف ویتامین ث تا دو هفته پس از عمل، به تسریع روند بهبود کمک می‌کند.
• طی 72 ساعت اول، برای صرف غذا از یک قاشق کوچک استفاده کرده و غذا را پشت دندان‌های پیشین خالی کنید.
• بهتر است تا یک هفته از خندیدن شدید و بلند حرف زدن خودداری کنید.
• به طور معمول پس از یک هفته، دوره مراقبت و استراحت تمام شده و بیمار به زندگی طبیعی خود بر می‌گردد.

Types of Facial Implants

Facial implants are specially formed solid, biocompatible materials designed to enhance or augment the physical structure of your face. The precise type and size of implants best suited for you requires an evaluation of your goals, the features you wish to correct and your surgeon’s judgment.

Chin implants

Chin implants can increase the size and projection of a chin that does not project in proportion with the forehead and mid-face. A small or recessed chin can also be described as one that seems to disappear into the neck of an individual of normal weight, rather than appearing as a distinct facial feature.

Jaw implants

Jaw implants increase the width of the lower third of your face. Much like the chin, a weak jaw can be thought of as one that is not well-defined and distinct from the neck, or one that slopes rather than angles from the ear to the chin. In some cases, both the chin and jaw can contribute to facial imbalance.

Cheek implants

Cheek implants increase the projection of the cheekbones. They add volume to areas which may be recessed or flat.

Facial implants surgery

If symmetry among facial features is part of your goal, facial implants may be recommended to augment more than one facial region. It’s important to remember that all of our faces are asymmetric to some degree and your results may not be completely symmetric. The goal is to create balance and proportion. Your procedure may be performed alone, or as a complement to other facial contouring procedures such as nose or ear surgery.

Facial implants procedural steps

Step1- Anesthesia: Medications are administered for your comfort during abdominoplasty surgery. The choices include intravenous sedation and general anesthesia. Your doctor will recommend the best choice for you. Step 2- The incision:The chin: For a chin implant, the incision may be inside your mouth, along the crease that joins your lower lip and gums. An incision just beneath the chin is an alternative.

The jaw: These implants are generally placed through the mouth with incisions inside the mouth, further back along the jawline, at the crease where the inside of your cheek and gums meet.

The cheek: The specific area to be augmented in the cheek determines where an implant will be positioned on the cheekbone. Cheek implants are most often placed through incisions in the mouth.

Step 3- Closing the incisions: Your incisions will be closed with absorbable sutures or stitches that will be removed within 1-2 weeks following your surgery.

Post-operative instruction

• Most patients complain of discomfort more than pain. Use pain medication as directed/as needed.
• It is not uncommon to have a low-grade fever for 24 to 48 hours following cheek implant surgery.
• Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) helps promote healing. Take for two weeks following cheek implant surgery.
• Most patients will be instructed to start the antibiotic when they arrive home following cheek augmentation surgery.
• It is recommended to use small spoon for feeding in first 72 hours after surgery.
